Waves Campground
At Waves, I managed a group of around 15 backpackers, welcoming them to the campground, assigning jobs and managing progress. Alongside managing the team, I acted as their host and guide, introducing them to the area and helping them settle in. The group was always multicultural and diverse in age, so I kept my management style flexible while making sure everyone felt at home and included. Beyond team management, I also took care of keeping the campground running smoothly—handling reception, ground-keeping, and making sure the space was ready for guests to enjoy.

Youth Worker New Rootz
I supported New Rootz in their goal of helping young refugees adapting in a new cultural environment. The project I helped create and coach was focussed on film and taking the youngster through the process of "it's okay to learn by making mistakes". The end result was always something to be proud of, but the journey in how we got there was more valuable in what they had learned about themselves.
